Where have all the Bugles gone ?
Have Drums been replaced by bells ?
Have Bugles been replaced by trumpets ?
Has style and class been replaced by pomp and circumstance ?
Has participation been replaced by, talent and money ?
What about the kids today that are looking for a place to belong ?
Suppose they are not athletic.
Suppose they are not superior scholars.
Suppose they are not primo donna musicians.
Suppose they are looking for a place to belong.
Should we tell them to learn their part ?

I am thankful that in my youth, there was a drum & bugle corps on every corner.
Here are some men, that gave a kid like me, direction.
Bunny Kane, Ricardo Gabriel, Rich Rippeon, John Muzzi, Bob Abrahmson, John Petkovitch, Bill Taberling, Truman Crawford, Rodney Goodhart, Bob Zarfoss, Walter Winkleman, Walt Mitzel, Mike Aiella, Tom Baldridge, James Wilkins, Bob Valentine, Fred Mobray, Jack Kielly, Jim Milbrand, Corky Frabrizio, John Flowers.
These people are great mentor's.
